AUS Professor Appointed IEEE Distinguished Lecturer

Ghaleb Husseini, Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS) has been appointed as a Distinguished Lecturer (DL) for 2014-2015 by the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS). EMBS is the world’s largest international society of biomedical engineers, having 9,100 members across 97 countries. Dr. Husseini was one of only eight speakers selected worldwide. Of these, two were appointed from the ‘Middle East and Africa’ region - the other being based in South Africa.

University accreditation can help you select the best university

Checking accreditation is an important part of this process. There are 107 universities and colleges in the UAE, but surprisingly few of them are accredited by a local or international body.
