In my last blog I shared my experience on how I decided to study abroad, the application and approval process and how I chose and ended up at the American University of Sharjah. AUS student treks to Everest Base Camp

Adnan Shahpurwala, Electrical Engineering student at American University of Sharjah (AUS) College of Engineering accomplished one of his life-long dreams by trekking to Everest Base Camp recently.

Alongside his childhood friend Arihant Jain, they took the 130 kilometers, journey to climb up to the famous base camp in Nepal which stands at an altitude of 5,364 meters.

This summer, I fulfilled a big dream of mine. In itself, the dream was simple, to trek to the iconic Everest Base Camp. It took me two weeks and an upward trekking of around 130 kms to reach the base camp.
