Lung++ is an innovative app developed by Haya Hasan and Basel Safieh, students in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS). It is designed to improve the lives of people living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
Earlier this year, the app took home second place at the Ninth Mobile Application Contest held at Khalifa University.
The app is part of our commitment to empowering our students and helping them make a positive impact on society. Using the kind of creative thinking that we actively encourage and foster, our students developed the app with the aim of decreasing diagnosis time for people living with COPD.
