AUS students attend the Global Leader Experiences program

These inspirational words by McDonald’s co-founder Ray Kroc are a catalyst for leaders and change-makers to bring about transformations in today’s world. It is with this in mind that 13 students from American University of Sharjah (AUS) took part in the Global Leader Experiences (GLE) program held at Dubai Port (DP) World April 5-8, 2015 to learn how to develop leadership qualities within themselves.

AUS student wins American design award during term abroad

During his term abroad at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Fall 2014, not only did AUS architecture student Ali J. Al-Sammarraie enjoy a term full of new experiences, but he also won the Grand Prize in the Tam Bao Temple Studio and Design Competition, in which LSU students worked with the Vietnamese Buddhist community in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to create a plan for the redevelopment of areas adjacent to their temple.
